As part of a larger project to double track the South Shore Line from Gary to Michigan City, the century-old street-running tracks in 10th and 11th Streets Michigan City are being replaced with more modern tracks adjacent to the street. In the process, a number of buildings (mostly houses) adjacent to the streets will have to be demolished. I have done my best to photograph these buildings before and after demolition, though I am sure I missed plenty of buildings.
